Winter's Crystal Rain

The crystal rain covers every inch she touches, she covers all in beauty it seems,
but her burden is dangerous. She outlines every tree, branch, limb and leaf and fills them in with her crystal rain as the North wind glazes her dry as ice.

The first glaze is sheer and beautiful as she traces every delicate detail. She continues to coat her subjects as the sheerness turns into a see through armor of ice weighing down life coated in her deceptive beauty; threatening to snap life off at its knees if it doesn't bend, sway or give to her demands.

Her icy season is short, her deception becomes transparent once she gives way her hold to the sun. The sun sets her captives free as her crystal rain thaws and in turn becomes life giving crystal water for a glorious Spring.
